The Disability Rights Coalition Calls for Strong Government Action
to Meet Human Rights Remedy Timelines

Today, the DRC issued a media statement (below) regarding the Province’s Second Annual Report on its progress in implementing the Remedy—the court-ordered five-year plan to fix the finding of systemic discrimination against persons with disabilities in Nova Scotia.  The DRC has also released its own detailed analysis of where the Province has—and hasn’t— met the Remedy’s legal requirements for progress.
