The DRC is a volunteer-run organization that promotes the rights and personal autonomy of persons with disabilities through public awareness and education, and by monitoring the implementation of the Human Rights Remedy in Nova Scotia.
We welcome media, membership and community partnership inquiries. As well, we invite individuals to share their direct experience with the implementation of the Remedy.
Please email us at disabilityrightsns@gmail.com. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner to inquiries within the scope of our mandate.
Please note: Because the DRC is an organization with no staff, we do not have the resources to respond individually to everyone who reaches out to us.
Similarly, we do not have the capacity to provide individual support or assistance.
