As Year 1 of the Human Rights Remedy ended on March 31, 2024, here’s a two-minute exchange in the Nova Scotia legislature from March 27th about whether the Province was actually going to carry out its legal obligation to adopt a DSP Policy—by March 31, 2024— that there’d be ‘no new admissions’ to DSP institutions by the end of Year 1. The answer really points to the need for greater accountability!
